Sausage Cheese Loaf

This is one of my favorite recipes. It’s great for parties – everyone loves it!

Ingredients

1 pound hot sausage

1 can green chiles

8 to 12 ounces cheddar

8 ounces sour cream

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 loaf French bread

Fritos

Directions

Cook and drain sausage. Mix with chiles, cheeses, and sour cream.

Hollow loaf, fill with sausage mixture, and wrap tightly in foil.

Bake at 400°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour until it’s hot all the way through. Serve with Fritos.

This can easily be made a day or two ahead of time and kept in the fridge until you’re ready to cook it. Just allow extra baking time if you put it in the oven cold.
