<li>1 1/2 cups sugar</li>
<li>2 eggs</li>
<li>1 can fruit cocktail</li>
<li>2 cups flour</li>
<li>2 scant teaspoons baking soda</li>
<li>1/2 teaspoon salt</li>
</ul>
<h2>Directions</h2>
<ol>
<li>Mix sugar and eggs; add fruit cocktail.</li>
<li>Add dry ingredients. Pour into two greased cake pans and bake at 350°F.
ICING/FILLING</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>1 can evaporated milk</li>
<li>1 stick butter</li>
<li>1 cup sugar</li>
<li>1 cup coconut</li>
<li>1 cup pecans</li>
</ul>
<ol>
<li>Cook milk, butter, and sugar until thick. Add coconut and pecans.</li>
<li>Spread between layers and over hot cake.</li>
</ol>
